Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a photographer… but in a past life (like up until five years ago), I was a first grade teacher, which means I have the patience of a saint, the energy of a caffeinated squirrel, and absolutely no fear of chaos. Sticky fingers? Tantrums? Someone refusing to smile? I’ve seen it all… and I can still get the shot.

I grew up in Oklahoma, moved to Colorado in high school, then headed off to the University of Kansas for college. Somewhere along the way, I met my husband and very sweetly, kindly, and with zero pressure whatsoever… convinced him that Colorado was the only logical place for us to live forever. And here we are!

I’m also a mom of four kids who play an ungodly amount of sports and are involved in far too many activities... so trust me, I fully understand busy schedules, wild energy, and the art of capturing a moment before someone runs off to their next game. Chaos is basically my comfort zone.

These days, I channel all that energy into photography. I capture kids, families, seniors, newborns, engagements, sports, events; you name it. If it involves humans (or humans who won’t sit still), I’m in.

My sessions are anything but stiff and awkward. I will probably make weird noises, tell bad jokes, and I will most likely sing. People laugh, kids loosen up, and suddenly you’re having fun instead of wondering what to do with your hands.

My goal? To make you feel comfortable, confident, and maybe even like a model (or at least someone who doesn’t hate getting their picture taken). I want you leaving your session thinking, “Wait… that was actually fun?”

If you want someone who will hype you up, make your kids giggle, embrace the chaos, and capture the real, joyful, slightly goofy moments...you’ve found your photographer.
