Hi, I'm Laura.
I'm a Colorado family photographer, a mom of four, a professional memory keeper... and someone who almost always has a basket of laundry waiting for me at home.
This little corner of the internet has been on my heart for a long time.
Photography is so much more than choosing outfits or finding the perfect sunset. It's about freezing the little things that quietly disappear while we're busy living them.
The missing front teeth.
The way your toddler still reaches for your hand.
The teenager who suddenly isn't so little anymore.
The dirt-covered baseball pants that somehow become your favorite sight every spring.
The newborn who fits perfectly in your arms, for what feels like five minutes before they're on the move.
I know because I'm living it too.
Most days you'll find me photographing families, seniors, newborns, and athletes all over Colorado. The rest of the time I'm cheering from the sidelines, making school lunches, folding towels that never seem to stay folded, and wondering how my own kids got so big so fast.
This blog isn't just about photography.
It's about making family photos easier. I'll share outfit ideas, location guides, session tips, and ways to help your kids actually enjoy picture day. I'll take you behind the scenes of real sessions, answer the questions people ask me all the time, and hopefully help you feel more prepared and a lot less stressed.
